I am most passionate about two things: exploring the world and creating accessories.
Accompany me in this journey.
I promise you, it will be one hell of a trip.

Happy Times

University days...
Don't we all just love to reminisce?
I had a blast and it was such a fantastic experience.

This  UPLB bracelet is a tribute to my alma mater.
"University life won't be so full of joy if not for this campus. The environment was so carefree, green and fresh. Youthful vibe can be felt all around."

On a hindsight, I was actually in a boarding school during my secondary and tertiary education. That's why it was all the more memorable.
How can I forget where I used to go for my physical education class? Nowadays, my exercise is going from one meeting to another! hahaha!

Walking around the halls while running to meet all my deadlines. Fave subject: broadcasting. I had my own radio show! Beat that! :P

I just love the carefree feeling of my campus.

Life was so much simple then. You don't even need a car to move around.

Towering Kuala Lumpur

In my life story,  I can definitely say that I did live with Petronas Tower!
Those who are not familiar with Asia might be wondering where is this tower located. Ladies and Gents, KLCC (name known to residents) can be found in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

I saw this building almost everyday coz my Client's head office is located there. I was first in awe at the structure but the more I see it, the less amazing it becomes. The familiarity finally sets in.
My KL necklace was inspired by the towering iconic structure.

As described in my shop. "Black beads, freshwater pearls and oxidized metal featured prominently in this long necklace. Worn great as a standalone necklace and packs a meaner punch when worn as a layer. A lovely flower toggle clasp softens the look."

Just a few kilometers off the city center is the residential area. I lived before in this huge apartment overlooking the golf course. Now I miss this temporary home the more. I used to wake up to the sound of the birds chirping. Now in Jakarta, I hear honking cars!

Not too far from my abode, was the administrative center of Putrajaya (Washington to you Americans).

Rain Rain Go Away!

It's not supposed to be rainy season in Indonesia. Then how come, it's raining everyday?
I love rain when I'm at home reading a good book.
And I hate it, when I'm out driving!

Anyway, to release the stress I decided to make a treasury. Check it out!

Milan on Treasury!

It was as a good day yesterday.
My Milan bracelet was included in two lovely treasuries.

Here's the description on my etsy shop.

"Imagine being invited to Milan's fashion week. Having that 'it' dress sewn by a famous Milanese designer. As you walk along Via Montenapoleone to check out one atelier after another, you bumped into the world's most fashionable people."

First as part of the collection for "A Birthday Hello to my sister".

Then, it was  featured at "Gems Around the Globe".

Thank you Greene Stitches!
Thank you Patty of Stone and Fiber!

Eat Pray Love

The title of this blog is very apt to the times.

I'm not talking about the movie though although the 'Love' part actually is the topic for today.
Island Life.

My inspiration for this piece.
"A 3 strand turquoise and fresh water pearls bracelet with oxidized metals and silver plated lobster clasp."

I've been to several beaches in this lifetime. Bali is not just about the beach. The island's water quality is not even one of the best. BUT the the feeling that this place exudes is one for the books.

Take for example this five star rated hotel I've stayed in Nusa Dua.

Even a simple fruit juice seemed inviting.

Did I even tell you that Bali, or more specifically Ubud is a hilly place teeming with artists of all sorts. From carvers, silversmiths, batik maker, etc.  There's just so much to explore here.

Truly  inspirational.
And for that, I have to agree with Julia Roberts that you can find 'Love' in Bali.

Rome

"This is a world city with a golden history. Every nook and cranny has something to tell. Take for example St. Peter's Basilica with its golden dome or this marvelous house in front of the Trevi Fountain".

Rome was the inspiration of my jet black crystal bracelet. You can see it's full specs here.

I have to add though that aside from it's golden history, Italians are truly fashionable in every sense of the word. And oh, to be in Rome without tasting the gelato is a crime. *yes, that's me behind the gentleman.

As a tourist, you must, must visit the Spanish Steps -- the place to see and be seen. Just one of the perhaps 'cheesy' but 'fun' thing to do while  in Italy's capital city.

here come's high street fashion...

Top-of-mind : the Queen, the Ritz, the Eye, Harrods, high street fashion!

Was fortunate that I had the opportunity to visit this world city... courtesy  of  my full time job :)

Didn't really get the chance to prepare though 'coz it was a very last minute decision to fly here... like not even a week and to think I still have to secure a visa. Well, wonders beyond wonders, I made it right on time.

This then became the inspiration of my cuff, as described in my shop.

" High street fashion is the first thing that pops into my mind whenever I shop at established UK retailers at this side of the globe. It's cosmopolitan, stylish and totally wearable."

There's just one story that I must share with you. Hubby told me not to take a cab when I get there 'coz its way too expensive. But unfortunately, I was so tired when I arrived (imagine Jakarta - Kuala Lumpur - London!) and can't barely carry my luggage. Plus, it was damn cold! So I flagged a cab and paid 50 pounds for that 30 minutes ride! Whoa!
